Who it is for

Either your customers or your colleagues. They are not the same job: one for customers has to be found and downloaded, one for colleagues mostly has to be fast and to keep working where the signal is poor.

Before anyone builds an app

Often a website that works properly on a phone solves the same problem, for less, with no store review in the way. If that is what comes out of the conversation, that is what we will say. An app is the right answer when it needs notifications, the camera, offline use, or when being in the store is itself the point.

The work that is not the app

Building it is half the job. The other half: developer accounts in your name, the privacy declaration, the store listing, the screenshots, and the submission. That is where most first releases stall, and we deal with it in detail. The annual developer account fees are yours, in your name, like the domain.

It does not stop at release

The stores change their requirements every year, and sometimes that alone forces a new release, whether or not you asked for one. That is part of care. We maintain our own app, MetronomeLab, the same way, and have done since it shipped.

How we price it

The same way as a web application: a fixed scope in writing, an estimate in hours against it, and the published 20 000 Ft + VAT hourly rate. No fixed project price here either.
